Our Doctors
Blake Thordarson, DVM
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Thordarson was born and raised in West LA and completed his undergraduate studies at The American University in Washington, DC in Applied Statistics. He soon realized that Veterinary Medicine was his passion and devoted all his energy to the pursuit of this goal.
Dr. Thordarson received his DVM from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and is excited to be back in Los Angeles with his wife, two sons, and two furry companions: Apple, an elderly beagle, and a young, energetic boxer, Yoda. Dr. Thordarson specializes in small animal medicine and is interested in surgery, preventative medicine, and internal medicine.
When not at work, he loves spending time with his family, all things Disney, baking, and the beach.
Erinn Schmidt
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Schmidt’s passion for veterinary medicine began at her family’s cattle ranch in her home state of Washington. She received her DVM from St. George’s University, completed her clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee, and is excited to now begin her career caring for animals in the Los Angeles area. Dr. Schmidt is passionate about providing high-quality care and creating a positive, low-stress experience for both pets and their families.
In her free time, Dr. Schmidt enjoys spending time with her fiancé, her crazy blue heeler Oakley, and her three-legged cat, Lieutenant Dan. She stays active through hiking and weightlifting, and likes to relax by baking or reading.
